Groningen in the Netherlands

So I left Italy about 2 weeks ago and I am now in Groningen in the Netherlands. I am stay up here with my cousin Jess. It is a great little town. It is a University and student town. It is similar to Stellies in a way. The weather is still very cold sitting around 0 - 6 degrees. On the way here I was in Amsterdam airport and train station for a bit, but I would like to explore Amsterdam at some stage.

Night One and a Home made dinner.

I met a fellow South African here who is managing a Pub called The Dogs Bollocks. Similar to the one in Cape Town. They too have some tasty burgers! The main market square "The Grote Markt" is the main market square.

The main mode of transport here in the Netherlands is bicycles. It crazy everybody rides them. Whether you are going to work in a suit or a drink at the pub. I am still yet to see a "Just Married" couple riding on bikes. While I have been here I have done a lot of thinking and research as to my next step. I have decided to go work on the yachts, however this option has thrown a spanner in the works...

My best option is to go back to South Africa to do the courses from a financial aspect. I will definately be blogging once I am on the road to France and Spain after the training. It is gonna be an awesome adventure.  

Livigno Italy... 2013 to 2014... Snowboarding

Hi everyone, so I have been in Livigno for the last 2 weeks with the family and cousins! It has been absolutely amazing! 

I met up with Cheyne here and did some sweet skating with him and his cousins. Matt arrived on the 2nd and we have been drinking and skating everyday! 

New Year's Eve was great, it consisted of supper with family and Mikey's pub for a jol and lots of drinks! Followed by a useless 1st day of the year recovering! 😊 

In the 3rd while teaching Matt to snowboard we met 2 lovely Russian girls and we spent the evening drinking Vodka! Followed by Mikey's for some dancing and a night out! 😊 

We did some serious hours on the slopes the next day or 2 and got Matt up to speed! 

In the last few days we decide to attempt some Backflips 😃😃 we got some amazing pictures! 

What an amazing time!
